A new season of Sports Trivia in San Diego started Tuesday January 13, 2026 at 6 PM at The Mixer on Dewey Road in San Diego.
16 Players got on the Scoreboard that night and the three round competition came down to the FINAL Question of the FINAL Round with Stacy holding a 1 Point lead over Bruce! Find out how it ended and the 16 that made the board below.
Brad wins week 3, Rhyse Wins Weeks 4 and 5 at the Mixer

Brad held off a charge by Marcos to become the4 first player to score over 100 points andwin at the Mixer during week 3 of the Sports Trivia Leagues in San Diego at the Mixer. Suzanne had 85 points in week -2 and Bruce was our week 1 winner with 85 points. So, Brad is actually our highest scorer in one night so far.
In week #4 of our competition Rhyse made the most of his point opportunities by scoring high. He did not get on the board until late in the competition as Mario led most of the way. However, in the final round Rhyse secured his first win of the season at the Mixer posting 71 Points while Mario finished with 58 and took second place.
In week #5 Rhyse became the first ever at the Mixer in San Diego to go back to back with a close win! For the second consecutive week Rhyse scored 71 points. 4 Players were within 11 points of Rhyse on Tuesday March 10, 2026 at the Mixer in San Diego.

RECAP of week #1 - Played on 1/13/26 at the Mixer on Dewey Road in San Diego, Ca.
Bruce answered the very first question of 2026 as the San Diego Sports Trivia League made it's debut at the New and recently opened (opened 2 months ago in November of 2025) MIXER! At the conclusion of the first Round, Bruce had a 28 to 25 to 21 lead over Greg and Stacy. (Greg scored 7-7-11) and had all the lucky numbers working for him after round 1.
Our Round 2 leader was Stacy who finished the round at 54 and Bruce was a close second at 53 and it all came down to the Final Round and the final 4 Questions of the night.
In the Final Round Ryan got Red Hot and improved his score from 5 all the way to 35 keeping both Bruce and Stacy off the third round scoreboard thru the first 3 questions. In other words, because of Ryan's charge, both Bruce and Stacy were silenced and did not score thru the first 3 questions of Round 3. So, as we prepared for the final question of Round 3, with Stacy holding a one point lead it was clear that if anyone at the Mixer answered the Final question correctly other than Bruce then Stacy would be the winner. The Final question had several guesses before Bruce shouted out the correct answer and picked up 17 points on the final question to win by 16 over Stacy. However, it was a lot closer than the 16 point differential seemed between 1st and 2nd.
Bruce Won a "Flashy City Connect Fernando Tatis Jersey" for his first place performance. Bruce is currently the overall score leader at the San Diego Sports Trivia Mixer location so far this season.
The next round of competition, fun, and prizes will be held Tuesday January 27, 2025 at the Mixer on Dewey Road here in San Diego.

In week #2 Suzanne was a "wire to wire" winner! Suzanne really knew a lot of San Diego Padres history both current and in the past. The first question of the night was "what year did the Padres begin?" and Suzanne shouted out 1969 so quickly. Her first 7 correct answers were all Padre questions until she got a Football question correct towards the end of round #2.
Suzanne held off a late charge from Easton and Marcos to hang on and win. Suzanne makes her San Diego Sports Trivia Debut at the Mixer as the Winner and Won a Fernando Tatis Jersey! Full recap of week #2 is listed below:
